Manco 906C
About my manco
The History of My Manco
Back when i was in 7th grade, my parents and I went to a manco dealer to look at a new go kart. Well first one i saw was the 906 on the first floor. i saw another on the second along with a couple of mini bikes to. My dad test drove the 906 and said "throttle needs adjusting" Now although it looked slow in the parking lot, i didnt know what it was gonna do when i got it. i was thinking "i shoulda got the XTK 13"
About a month later, i hear a diesel in my driveway around 9am. Thinking it was my dad starting the massey fugerson to go mow the feilds, i went back to sleep. around 10am, i was driven out of bed to see my new manco in all its glory! I took it down in the feilds and it really hauled! Stock it went 30mph, and got there in a good amount of speed also. Turned great, great traction, great power!
2 years later, This go kart has been very modified! I havent seen many more 906's. There is one other member on the gokartsrus.com site who just bought one off ebay. I see them on ebay and craigs list now and then, but not many.
Alot of buggy people think "oh manco go karts cant keep up with buggies" well at rausch creek PA, i ran the VERY RUGGED 2 mile abandon rally course with steep rocky hills, sharp turns, smelly mulch, and open stone roads, in 12min and 30 seconds! most didnt think i'd make it past checkpoint 3! In fact, i beat a Twister hammerhead 250, a 60's VW buggy (blew motor) and a couple others. i was behind a talon dlx (modified), talon gx (modified), and a yerf gx 150 (very modified). The yerf ran 11min 39 seconds, and considering its two times more powerful than my manco, I'd say i did good! The fastest buggy was a Roketa GK-32 i believe, coming in at 10min 11 sec. But that was one very fun buggy meet, i even beat a stock twister 150 back to camp!
Now this sounds a little far fetched, but look at my mods list!
