96' Pathwinder (First Gokart Ever(for me))
Once mine Pathwinder Go Kart
The pathwinder go kart, no suspension, 1 wheel drive, centrifical clutch, turf tires. The classic go kart setup. For us, it was an amazing drifter! It did drifts so big, I actually tore the tire open! Was a shame i sold it, but i gave it to a good home, a good friend of mine who is also in the buggy game. I understand now it has a battery, lights, snow hog tires, new padding, switch pannel, and a new seat (manco seat adapted into it)
This kart was bone stock when i sold it, and still it was fast. It has a 5hp enduro tecumseh engine that really got it moving. Some of the hills in my video's, the pathwinder actually could climb with bald tires! Not exactly fly off the top, but it wouldnt get stuck! It definatley was a rock solid kart. The day i was selling it, i took some pics of it. So there the newest i have. I took it for one last ride around the neighborhood, and when it was time to put it away, my friend said i hit the driveway so fast, i got 2" of air off the little lip. I could feel it, but didnt know it was that high! My driveway is atleast 60 degrees, and it went up alot easier than i thought!
Someday ill get to drive the Pathwinder again. You still see them on ebay and google. Some had B&S 5hp engines and came in black. Ours was in better condition than the ones ive seen. Besides the tires, nothing was ripped. Like i said, rock solid!
